Hallway mirror.

A large hallway mirror was required in a beautifully restored period building. By placing the mirror at the bottom of the staircase it provided a feeling of opening up the space when descending and arriving in the hallway. As well as location the design and finish has been sensitively considered and guided by existing features. The moulding is a combination of details from around the house proportionally adjusted to suit the new addition to the interior. The real success of this project is how the mirror appears to have existed as long as the original interior joinery.
