“A photograph of a chair designed and made by Kristian captured our imagination and we decided to commission a bespoke cabinet to furnish our oak garden room. The specification was fairly straight forward, we wanted a beautiful but practical piece of furniture in keeping with the rooms natural oak beams and that would conceal an eyesore of an under floor heating pump attached to the wall. Kristian proposed three alternative designs, although in reality we fell in love with the very first one he showed us. Not only had he considered our requirements but he had also incorporated elements that hadn’t even occurred to us, such as shaping the piece so that none of the views from the adjoining rooms were compromised by the cabinet itself.”
